An exhibition of work by twelve of Europe and America’s most exciting contemporary photography and video artists.
In a Lonely Place took loss, melancholy, loneliness and isolation as its central themes. The exhibition presented unsettling and sometimes stark meditations on the ambiguous definitions of what it means to be lonely.
Photographers, filmmakers and artists represented in the exhibition were Frances Kearney, Lucinda Devlin, Broomberg & Chanarin, Maria Marshall, Philippine Hoegen, Tom Hunter, Luc Delahaye, Slater Bradley, Ann Lislegaard, Johnny Jensen, Aino Kannisto and Una Henry.
